Mandela. Legacy and Foot print.

His last address in parliment, 05 February 1999.

" We must continue our efforts to carry our hopes into reality."

Here I am, a day after the memorial service. There has never been a time in history that the Great have gathered in one place. Salute. Salute. Salute.

I am proud, and prouder than ever to be living in the time and place where history is part of who I am.

Who am I? What is my footprint? Is it where its supposed to be?

These are the questions that have been burning in my heart since last friday.

As it happens, I was at a Leadership breakfast at the Wits Business School. Addressed by His Hounorable Minister Malusi Gigaba. He challenged us to create avanues of growth for our youth in South Africa. How do we be, how do we go on, everyday and be proud of ourselves, when the majority of our country is unemployed. Those who are, are just mere staff comlements and are not influencing the Socio-Economy nor Politics, neither mainstream Economy.

Then I moved on to The Gordons Business School for TEDx Woman. There I was again sitting and wondering, when does the talking turn into work. What are we realy teaching or imparting with our young ones. What realy needs to happen for our leadres(me included), to be where the crux of humanity.

Being, including doing is what we need, govermnet is an institution that is not givivng us anything what so ever. It is an institute that is administering our tax payers money, whilst our own are living in poverty.

It is right here, in Soweto. How is it that we say we are free, when we still have people in Soweto living without electricity. Without food.

I still want to appluade those that know they are making a difference, and ask you, you, you and you. What from here.

The challange is upon me and you, to impact in someone's life and make that difference.

Be the change you want to see in the World. Mahatma Gandhi.

What change are you making, not what are you talking about, but WHAT ARE YOU DOING.

Keep watching and see my footprint. Karabo Nompumelelo Makgoane aka Nubian Kush.

Being Present

Here I am on a wonderfull sunny Joburg aftrennon. Sitting for about 20min outside in a resturant and no service.......Nicolway. Ha. then I thought, let me share.

It has been a while comming. I am enjoying the ability to be being present in my life. This means appreciating being here now. this has meant, being absent in social networks. Being in the moment with people and events. I am so loving it.

It is amazing how we let life pass us by whilst we are planning to live. There is a saying "Life is what happens when you are making plans."this so true. I have had so many 'status update'moments in mylife now, since I have chosen to be present and its just too much work to even think of doing that.

Have you taken a moment to breath, look at the blue and cloudy sky, see the horison, by driving just a few kilometers outside of the city. Let the rain drops fall on your face, get wet and play.

When was the last time you played with your kids, just sitting and listening to them as they play and tell you how the day went and asking if you want some cakes and biscuits baked with mud......huh........ That has been the order of the day and I am loving every minute of it.
(still waitting to have not been served and am leaving) so much for good service.

will get meself some loving iced coffee from the South of Jozi.

Gravitation

Greetings

Here I am. I am reading The Celestine Prophercy. I am loving the part of coinsidences. My friend calls it Coincidinckiies.

I am just opening up, so I am gravitating towards old friends and foes. So, to me it says I need to deal with my past. That is a painfull transition. It still needs to happen.

I find it amazing that we learn and grow. Then life is difficult and alot of beaty and we need to focus on the love.

What is love. That is what i would like to get into. Think and Grow.

History

Until the Lions have thier own historians, tales of hunting will always glorify the hunter.........  Afrikan Proverb.

How true can this be. What is your story and is it building the fibres of what will be histry for generations to come.

Here I am at my favourite sport in Jozi(Johasetleburg). Mugg n Bean, with my no fun Mocca Java. I love coffee, more the smell than the taste. It took me a good 30min or so to get back to my blogg, I am learning as I go........

My profile.....

Nubian Kush is a name I came across in 2002 in April. I was a student of Africology at Karaites Institute of Afrikology. Ntate Kgalishi Koka was my Leader, Mentor and a father. ( May His Soul continue to Bless Karaites)

Nubia is Kush. Kush is Nubia. A place of Gold. history tells us life bagan in Kush, now that according to the Hunter, if there are any lions to verify, please lets get to it.

I just resonated with what I was learning about the land, the Nubians, and my Spirit REMEMBERED.

So today, Nubian Kush is a business that I am still defining. I am presently trading at the Bryanston Organic Market. I crochet lifestyle products. That is accesories, clothing and homeware. What your mind can concieve, I will find ways to crochet it. That is one of my passions.

My other lurv is talking, in that I am a Speaker(Motivational, Inspirational, Key Note and MC). My passion is in Eterprenuership and Youth Development. .....

Got to go.....
